so irritating. anyways, im just curious as to why DeviPriya didnt qualify for top 3? Not that im not happy with the winner..but just a lil clueless. :
whats with the new trend of dying in MRT Stations? seems like everyone who is broke is resulting to death by jumping off the tracks and getting their bodies mutilated by 3 parts so that they can get $500,000? haha. i dint know Singaporeans practice philanthropy.
i wonder how much Singaporeans donated for the Gujarati Earthquake and the Tsunami.. i bet it must have been lesser. Surprising, coz thousands of lives were gone because of natural disaster not that they chose to die. so we can sympathise with that. But with people choosing to die, because they concede defeat to life's challenges and donating a whooping big amount. and furthermore, not just ending with that, but taking rights to know how the widow is gona manage her money and her husband's death cert number for 4-D? ahhh thats our typical Singaporean for u.
Soon, i suppose every mrt station is going to have a memorial dedicated to people who died there, stating their name, the cause of death and how much of money was donated.

hmm, been a while i suppose. *clears dust*
well well, nothing much has happened. Deepavali came and went off in a day. lol. wasnt really in the mood to celebrate as I wasnt feeling well. had good food spread neatly on the table at my aunt's place.. but all i cld feel was terrible tummy pain and high fever. SIGHS.
my stoopid lecturer has brought forward my test two weeks earlier. which means the test is on this coming monday. damn him. i have not started..much less i dont think i can finish up the chapters. been having throbbing headache the past few days and it isnt helping me much with all the studying and projects i have due. SIghs. and i have been downloading One Tree Hill episodes ..i know im a lil outdated as im just started on the Season 3 coz apparently season 4 is out. lol. but i really really hope Nathan and Hailey wld get back together.
i caught the preview of Ms Vasantham last sunday and at the end Shamen had some surprise .. but what was meant as surprise turned out to be a total disappointment for me. he had told that the full judgement of Ms Vasantham wld be given to the viewers based on their sms voting. and that is totally unfair. So which means that, the girl who's going to be crowned as Ms Vasantham 2006 wld be given the title based on her popularity and not on who she is, and how she can contribute towards the Indian Community or whatsoever.
so, the girl who dont deserve to win the title but then again just because she has alot of supporters will be crowned as she received the most sms votes. in that case, the girl who really deserves to win will be at the losing end just because she dont have enough supporters or pple to sms for her? hah. in that case, why bother having judges all the while.. ? rather the host ask the questions and at the end, the viewers can sms on who gets to go to the next round and all. to me, this whole 'sms judgement' sounds so stupid. but anyways. lets see how it goes tom. all the best to the finalists.
Oh yeah, i have to issues to blog abt.
1. Movies shown in Vasantham Central
2. Donations
Lets look at the first issue. Last week, Vasantham Central had shown Sivakaasi and i was kind of excited coz i liked Vijay and Prakash Raj's acting and was looking forward to watching it. But again, it turned out as a disappointment. i dont understand why they must cut certain parts which are not necessary. Like a part of a song scene, a dialogue part.. sounds ridiculous. i mean.. you guys have 3 hours to screen the movie plus ads and all.. why cut? at least i have seen the movie, i know which parts they have cut.. what if im a first-timer .. i wldnt know at all? Its good that they take effort to screen new movies and its very much appreciated. but if its going to be like Sivakaasi, i'd rather not watch it. coz if im watching it for the first-time, i wldnt be sure if im watching the full movie. So lets say, if u guys dont have enough time to air movies on television, please refrain from doing so. and if you guys do air, please do it properly. so yep. virtual plea u cld call that. haha.
and lastly, the second issue, i was waiting for my baby at Orchard Mrt Station on Tuesday when this chinese guy approached me for donation. as expected i decided to be kind to him and let him go on and on abt his service and for what i wld be donating for..while explaining he had mentioned that there wasnt any obligations and all..but at the end he said i wld have to donate a minimum of $10. and i only had 2 $10 note in my wallet at that time..so i said i got no change.. den he said oh $4-$5 also can la..please donate.. even $2 also can. i just said i had no change and he decided to find some other pple. but after he left, it struck me..
if there wasnt any obligations, why propose a $10 donation? i meant if u want to pple to donate, you must accept the given amount willingly.. why ask pple to donate $10 where even $2 was acceptable? arghh.. it dint struck my mind at that time ... im just waiting for my next chance so that i can ask..
oh and i hate parents who fail to discipline their kids. i was travelling in my feder service bus where there was this irritating kid who was sitting at the front occupying two seats..and his father was like 4 seats back with the little brother.. and the elder one was shouting to the 2nd one..and it was soo annoying..and despite the noise the damned father was sleeping!! how irritating can that be!! i mean if u cant discipline ur kids..dont be alarmed if sumone walked up to them and gave them a tight slap. not that im against kids making noise..i do understand that they are children and love to have fun.. but everything has their limits. they were practically shouting..humming..making irritating noises. grrr. if they were singing songs..it wld have been a different matter. sighs.
i have deemed this as an angsty post. lol. but its ok..
shamini has yet to finish studying for her test on monday.

shamini has to get ready to fail her 3 modules.
shamini is really good in procrastinating.

its been more than a month since i blogged. lol. i know i know. but the thing is ..i had nothing to blog abt.. no any particular interesting events in my life..and no issues that were bothering the mind of mine. Sighs.
Surya told me a couple of days back that my blog was featured in one of the blogspots based on my post on Ms Vasantham. hah. good that my post was put to of good use. :P
it has been a rather peaceful and spiritual 3 weeks. have been dedicating myself to lotsa bhajans and it was very nice..furthermore Navarathiri jus ended..and Thimithi is ard the corner. just finished my Kumbuduthanam on Tues and i must say..that it was def much better compared to my first time two yrs back. it was quiet..less pple..and i jus devoted myself to her. and the feeling upon finishing 3 rounds. hahah surprised, satisfaction and bliss. though my heart was beating damn fast ..like i had been to some 3.2km run. lol. but it was all worth it. :)
there are many things i wana do after my fast finishes on Monday.. like..

and many more.. but sadly..my baby's holidays finishes after next week. which means i have only 1 week to spend with him.. and obviously not everyday. *grumbles* and i have tests coming up..proposals.. coz Shamini has not been attending sch..and she's facing the consequences now. *sulks*
and Durgz is working. which means i can look forward to a fabulous treat. lol. she's working in an advertising agency..sounds all cool right..but that woman sleeps in her work place. and she gets paid. grrr. her work starts at 8am..she works till 8.15am.. and sleeps till 8.45am..and continue doing her work. lol. but she has to look at a whole lot of company names with the font size of 5-6 and find the particular company she's looking for. pity her. guess need to buy for her microscope next yr.
im bored. my lecturer is not back.
oh btw..i managed to catch the first 15-20mins of Ms Vasantham last week..and i must say i was impressed with Devipriya's answer to the judge. i mean she din give any lasting impressions till the last 2 episodes..which means its good. that shows she's working on making herself noticed.. and she's confident abt herself. which i think is truly sexy. having 2m of cloth draped ard you isnt sexy ..but being confident..having the brains and being able to use is sexy. :)
well i dunoe who's gona win..but yeah.
lallaa....oh my lect is back. grrr.
