i swear blogger is nuts. or im just e-illiterate. i switched to the new blogger version and cldnt find my blog..so i decided to log into my older blogger and blog..but it cldnt be published.. den i decided to recover my post and re-sign to blogger. i clicked..it signed into my new version with my blog name there. grr. but its kind of cool with all those new features.
oh well..lets have a recap of what my week's been so far..
Ashwin darling came to stay over at my place for a couple of days.. and he was a definite bundle of joy.. daily fights with mom and me..sayang-ing/pampering sessions from my dad. He's one 3yr old living Pooh boy.

had a mini girls night out yesterday at Bugis with Kamz, Sheila, Kamini, Su, Saj and Durgz. had great fun.. oh well. i always do. :P looking forward to Kam's birthday on Sat..
my baby hasnt been feeling good. Some inflammation on the back muscle.. sighs. thought he would he feel better after taking his painkillers but it doesnt seem to work. He couldnt even ans my call today cause he was having sucha bad migraine. He headed to SGH today again to take the jab to stiffen the muscles.. it was then when the doctor said he's allergic to the painkillers. stupid right? im just praying he would get better soon. sighs. oh! Congrats baby on scoring all As for ur subject!! hehe.
my new year resolution..is not to have any resolutions at all. lol. im not making sense am i? well, i kind of noticed that whenever i make any resolutions, it doesnt get fulfilled.. so im just gona go with the flow and accept whatever that happens..embrace it or fight it. Only one wish, that is to get my driving license. a wish that i cldnt get to fulfill it for the the past 3yrs. hah. Hopefully i can get it fulfilled by next year.
Well..im looking forward to a more happier year ahead. :) New year wishes to all loved ones. :)

It has been an interesting week so far.. Went out with Baby and Mom on Friday.. it was then when my baby realized my eye was red. I didnt have a look at it thinkin it was some normal red eye that would go off soon. While having lunch, i showed my mom to ask her if my eye was still red..and her facial expression showed it wasnt some kind of normal red patch. I went to the mirror to have a look at myself and i freaked out. Seriously it was that bad. and it was at the top of my eyeball where i would have to lift my eyelid to have a look..and it looked like some bright red ink has splashed on my eyeball.
i kept grumbling all the way back..haha..and all sorts of things were running on my head..like internal bleeding....etc. The next day i headed to the doctor..and she told me my eye was bleeding. Well, it wasnt as bad as i thought.. Apparently my external blood vessel burst which caused the bleeding thus the red patch on my eyeball. Thank god. and luckily these things doesnt affect my vision. and she said it will take a week for it to stop bleeding. Right now, it looks a little better.. Sheesh.
Went out with Gayathri to PS.. and we were talking (yess again!).. hah.. and while talking she made this comment "girls are stupid", sighs.. to which is true.. especially when it comes to girls handling matters relating with the heart. Because we girls, think with the heart and not the brains. Hah. i do admit till now i react very stupidly to
Ydae went to my cousin's house for Periyachi Padaiyal.. for the benefit of the non-indians, Periyachi Padaiyal is normally held on the 16th day after the baby is born, non-veg food will be laid out on the floor on a banana leaf..this 'prayers' will be held in the room of where the mother and the baby sleeps. After the prayers is over, the food which was offered to the Goddess will be mixed and given out the girls. No men is allowed in the room when the prayers is going on and before the prayers is held and they cant eat the rice.
So yeah.. the babygirl is damn adorable and it was my first proper attempt of holding a newborn and it turned out good. she was sleeping soundly in my arms after getting scolding from my grandma for being so restless. lol. All the more i liked her name most, Kyrishanthini. im not sure if this's the correct spelling or not. heh.
tom heading out to this new salon which Gayathri recommended.. hopefully its good and doesnt damage my hair again. grr.

Hmmm.. Yesterday met Gaya for an 'interview' at AH(alexendra hosp). hah. and as i expected there wasnt any part-time jobs available. grrr. but we ended up filling up this pretty long employment form which required our CPF Acct no. lol. it was pretty funny. we took quite a time to finish up the form and then headed down to Little India for lunch which we ended up spending nearly 3hrs talking! Even the waiters noticed and did pretty weird things. One stood behind our table..the other approached us and asked if we wanted to eat Poori or Idly even though they had served us rice meals earlier! Two other waiters were looking at us...and when i returned their look..they started laughing. lol. no harm cause i know them quite well.
After our talking marathon, we headed to Parkway Parade as Gaya needed to get some medicines and then chilled in Coffee Bean. and we talked and talked till it was 8+. my mouth hurt and i hope i din bore Gaya with the stories of men and God. lol.
But it was all good. Our next stop is at Fitness First on Saturday. Looking forward to the work-out though a little worried. hah.
oh btw, yesterday was Blooper's day and Gaya is the Blooper Guru with her new word of the day "Dishploma" and her question of the day "How old were u when u were 7yrs old?"

toook one long hiatus. well.. not really hiatus cause i just dont have anything to blog about. nothing much has been happening. 3 projects of hell was over a couple of weeks back. it was madness..my internet line had to be disconnected a week before my submission deadline. and my dad only managed to get it connected like 3 days before my submission .. goodness.
but am glad that all is over now..but im just worried for the results cause work done in rush is not a good one. SIghs. oh wells, im tryin to find a part-time job..so anyone who knows of it.. please do let me know?
Been long since i played pool. and seems like the year is coming to an end. This year has been passing by real fast. thats scary. and this year was a not-really-good year. Hopefully next year wld be better.
Yesterday was Karthigai. For all those non-indians, it's one of Lord Murugan's days. well thats the simplified version. So Madhan, Punetha akka, Kirthi, Bhavani, Sangeetha all headed to Tank Road temple. it was filled with devotees and their beautifully decorated kavadis. Beautiful sight. But what was not beautiful was the group of pple (men) whom i saw outside the temple.. arguing.. with the smell of alcohol lingering around.
To think it was only happening outside the temple, apparently, there was this whole row of drunkards in the temple itself..and one of them was creating trouble at the entrance.. its bad enough to see youngsters do that..but even old men..old enough to be ur uncles making a fool out of themselves and GOD. i hope they will be punished. sooner or later.
and im bored. dead bored.
