I love books!!
Hmm.. nothing beats the feeling of being home alone. Not that I'm bombarded with housework at home. But yeah.
Met up with Gaya on Thurs for dinner and again we spent 2hours straight in Swensens talking. She introduced some kind of face product which has been guaranteed good and I can't wait to try it. Also, hopefully we can have some short getaway with some self pampering sessions and street shopping. hah.
Sat, went to my much awaited MPH book sale at Expo with my baby and though it was not as what I had expected it to be, it was satisfactory. Most of the books were not my kind but managed to get 7 books. Thanks to my baby who sacrificed his hunger, and patiently walked with me carrying my books. Hey I don't bully my bf ah. haha. But I gave a treat to his tummy later on.Can't wait to start on my new splurge. I love books. My
other favourite companion. :) After spending more than 1 hour there, headed to Lerk Thai for some food whacking. The food was delectable. Especially the pandan leaf wrapped chicken. That was especially good.
Today spent some time with the boy and headed for bhajan practice. Haven't really studied for my test which is coming up next week. Bought a new pencil case, lol, i know, hopefully that would make me study. Don't ask me how.
Got the tickets for Moksha, looking forward to that. Chocoloate lovers should head down to Marks and Spencers, they have wonderful chocolates and chocolate biscuits.
This is a redundant, random post.
GSS, here i come!!Labels: books

Its old news but still Spiderman 3 rocked! hah. The company I was with rocked even better. :P
Yesterday was Saje's birthday. We met up at Little India as she needed to pass certain things and then headed to Bugis Junction's Seoul Garden. We had a blast there and though the night ended fast,we were dead tired at the end of the day.
I'm ecstatic! I've found one of my good old friend Naseem! Its actually the other way round, she found me but who cares! At least she remembered and even messaged me. We used to have fun in our school bus. Buying food and sharing on our way home. hahah I know, of all things I can only remember the food part!! But it was good, and all the while I thought she was the same age as me. As you guys can see, my short term memory loss was with me since young!
And guess what? I forgot one of my friend's birthday today! Seriously, something's very wrong with me. Like this how am i gonna do well for my upcoming test!! Studying for Applied Mathematics for Communication Systems isn't a cool subject. Its madness. Coming back to all the vectors, matrices and eigen values and vectors. Goodness. Thank god, one of the chapters was wiped off clean. I'd better start studying before having to burn the midnight oil.
Im dead tired. Been feeling tired very fast and also looking tired. My body's system isnt clicking well. Guess neglected my yoga class a bit! heh..
Well, back to Hatha tom!!

Vivocity is madness. I am not talking about the crowd as that is always expected but the way it has been designed. Its so huge!! I think if I walk around Vivocity twice a day I can lose weight. hah.
Baby and I had a good spread in ThaiExpress but he wasn't feeling quite well. Sighs. Walked around so much till my feet hurt and saw many Indian people/couples. Hah. Im not against seeing Indian people but I just dont understand why when an Indian sees another Indian, they must really look up and down? God.
Can someone tell me where I can get good mani/pedi done with reasonable price? Currently, the one Im doing is at Bishan and they are really good but they are too ex. Plus, I want to highlight my hair again, but a different colour; planning to settle for a more subtle one. Any ideas anyone?
Im bored and I got nowhere to go! And I am going to murder Gaya! *stares*
At Vivocity!

My life, my everything. :)
It's amazing sometimes how some people never change. Even when they got out of r/s, and their respective ex-boyfriends have already moved on in life, it seems like some ex-girlfriends dont move on after all. All you can afford is tagging some lame shit messages trying to sound all so funny. God knows where you got that sense of humour afterall?
If you ever read this blog, you will defnitely know who I am hinting at, so please get a life. Doesnt the word ex define anything to you? Know your limits and stay within that circle, the last person we need is You in our lives.

Seems like I took some partial hiatus or something.
Well, for starters, Mother's Day was great. I had to wait for my baby to leave his grandma's place and then met up with him at CP. The plan was to get a pair of earrings for my mom but I couldn't find anything nice or something my mom would prefer. Had to head down to Chip Lee in Yishun. Meanwhile, I had already made reservations in Sanur Indonesian Restaurant.
In Chip Lee, the pair of earrings I was looking for wasn't available. We decided to go for rings. At first, baby and I wanted to get plain gold rings but decided that was too common and settled something for stones. So got for her a white and black stone ring. Quite affordable, in fact it was below my budget. Took a cab down to CP as my parents was already there waiting. But my dad is a much better actor than me, he told my mom we were bringing to Kopitiam to have a simple dinner.
Before we went up to Sanur, baby and I got for her this so-called bouquet of 3 fully bloomed roses. It was not really a bouquet, it was beautifully kept in this glass bottle and wrapped in this red paper with pink baby breaths and stuff. Baby and I made our way to Sanur first, before asking dad to come up. Of course, mom was all full of surprise.. and even more surprised to see the presents. Firstly thank god the ring fitted nicely. I told the saleswoman to cut the ring to this particular size and she said once they have altered, they cant make it bigger if it cannot fit. But i was firm and said no, just cut to this size. So, thank god! Also, she fell in love with the 'bouquet'.
haha. It was all good!
Oh, my dad will be appearing in Pesuvom this coming Wednesday to debate on whether girls make the better child compared to sons. So, dont forget to watch!

Salaam-e-ishq is a wonderful movie. Im not gonna be a spoiler and say anything. Only two words,
WATCH IT!
It was an interesting weekend. A certain misunderstanding was solved and Im glad for that. Other than that, baby and I wanted to watch Jangan Padang Belakang this new malay horror movie. But, to my surprise, it was Sold Out! yeap. And, also Sold Out on the following day. Sighs.
Currently, there are many things I want to do but I've got no moolah. The next tuition fee Im getting is on 15 May! Which means Mother's Day is burnt. argh. But, my bf is getting his attachment pay soon. So, Im gonna shamelessly put up the places I want to go and what I want to get. :)
- Theatre (spiderman 3/Malay movie)
- The Manhattan Fish Place (heard its like Fish and Co but cheaper!)
- Sentosa
- New Clothes
- Shoes
I suppose I have been in a romance/love mood lately especially after watching Salaam-e-ishq. You can ask, why put romance/love? Arent they the same?
No. Love is a feeling you experience not only with your significant other, but with everybody else. Family members, friends, art, music etc. Whereas romance takes you to a whole different level. Somewhere private, intimate or maybe even passionate. It doesnt relatively has to be about sloppy wet kisses and major make out. It can be about sharing a private joke or something just the both of you know. Something that he whispers to you and you giggle and turn red.
haha. I dont know, anything you deem romantic. Cause opinions differ.
Right now, I want to tell everyone whom i know that i love you guys and your presence in my life is very much appreciated. Somehow, you guys have made me who I am today. Be it in a positive or negative way, you all have made me stronger and independent and I thank you guys wholeheartedly today.

and of coz,
I love you too baby. What would i do without you?Labels: love, movie
