The birthday has come and gone. The actual birthday was kinda interesting. I had work. I thought all my colleagues didn't know and I didn't expect them to know either. After lunch, i realized they were around my table but I thought they were there to just crowd around and talk. But no, Thana told me to sit at my table and I saw one of my colleagues lighting up some thing. And I realized, it was a slice of cake. They all stood around my table and sang me a birthday song. heh. I was like damn touched.
They had a pretty flower thingy. lol
After work, went to the temple with my baby. It was some auspicious event for Lord Ganesha. Ended up staying there till 8plus. Rushed down to AMK Hub cause baby wanted to get something but cldn't due to time constraint. Sighs. Again, rushed down to Causeway Point to meet parents and Ashwin in Swensens. While going back home, that kutty told that my father bought a chocolate cake. lol. It was supposed to be a surprise. wahhaha.
After that, followed by a tearful night with the boy. He ended up telling me a surprise which I wasn't supposed to know. But he had to, in order for me to go out with him. I know I am mean!
My family had actually planned a dinner yesterday. The plan was, I was supposed to go out with my baby to The Oriental to collect something from his uncle who works there. Then, my family followed by Ashwin's parents will be seated at the cafe waiting for me. Since the surprise was unfolded the night before, there wasn't any surprise. But its the thought that counts right?
My dad had planned with my aunt who works there earlier. We made our way down there and I must tell you, the place is absolutely mind-blowing. Apparently, it's a 6 star hotel. We made our way down to The Melt Cafe where my aunt works. Its a buffet kind and the staff there were wonderful. They had specially prepared so many dishes for me. I felt like royalty. hah.

We ended up taking photos in our hps! Because no one brought camera!! Irritating right? But on the whole, it was definitely a memorable and enjoyable birthday. Love you all.
especially you, who tolerated all my nonsense and scoldings. :)
And thanks to all darlings who wished me via sms, friendster, calls and tags! haha. Thanks to technology man.
What about presents you may ask? My parents gave me presents throughout the month of Aug. The mp3 player was one of them followed by whitegold chain, pendant and ring. 2 chocolate birthday cakes, one at home and the other at the hotel. Last but not least, a GUESS wallet. Baby's present is still pending. heh. But he gave me a wonderful card. My aunt gave me a gold and orange shawl. The rest was $$$. :)
Lastly, I shall leave you with a very grumpy Ashwin.
