My weekend was great! Saturday was Lord Ganesha's birthday. My 1st boyfriend. Hehe. Headed to Little India to get things for prayers and had my lunch with parents and rascal Ashwin followed by bhajan in the evening.
Sunday was the much awaited day for me as I had planned a surprise lunch for my mom and baby. It was the post-birthday treat from me to my baby. But since my mom would be alone at home decided to ask her to join us. Last week was spent cracking my head wondering where to bring my baby as he has a huge appetite and he claims eating in restaurants is considered a waste of time. He doesn't understand how one can pay so much to eat something which occupies quarter of a plate. Hah. That's my boyfriend for you.
Thana was suggesting Swissotel's buffet which I was considering. Then it struck my mind that there's this seafood restaurant I wanted to try as the name is very catchy.
No Signboard Seafood Restaurant. I guess some of you might have heard about it. I decided to make a reservation at one of their outlets in Vivocity. And after that I thought of bringing my baby to Sentosa's Tanjong Rhu beach. Firstly, the food there is simply sumptuous. The butter prawns is a must-try!!! I am an avid prawn lover and I am in love with the butter prawns there! The prices might get a little pricey for certain but good food are worth paying for right?
My baby and mom loved the ambience and the food. But the plan to Sentosa was postponed as we thought of spending our much-needed quality time alone at home. Parents went over to Ashwin's house and to Malaysia last night for an uncle's funeral. They will be back home today.
