Had a wonderful time on Friday at the Night Safari. It was dad's birthday and we all decided to go to Night Safari and not even my mom's cast was going to stop us. The children, Ashwin, Roshini, Sajini were all too excited. But sadly, the tram ride was quite disappointing. Most of the animals decided not to show up. But the elephants were soo cute! They looked toward us and started nodding their heads. Guess they were welcoming us. Hahha.
Then we rushed to see the animal show and it was very nice. The wolf gave reluctant howls before running back. hahha. And the host, Jini, did a very good job. Went the show was finished, she talked to us and when she learnt it was my dad's birthday she even gave out vouchers and asked someone to get a wheelchair for my mother. I was amazed at her customer service.
The next day, headed to temple and went to meet my aunty followed by birthday dinner for my dad in the evening. We went to Masala Art at Peninsula Plaza and the place was impressive. Very posh and cosy. But the only thing is that the floor is damn slippery man. Had wonderful food especially the seafood masala which was prepared on the spot but overall it was fun!
Will post the pictures sooon!
Well, it's just 5 more hours before 2008 is born and even before it's born good signs are beginning to show. My baby precious have gotten all As for his exam and scored 3.9 for his GPA. I am so proud of him and I am sure he can soar if he continue to pursue his studies.
Went to catch
I Am Legend with my colleagues
again. Hehehe. Will Smith is just
soooo good!
Recap,
2007 has not been a real good year except for December onwards. Had a rocky relationship. Sudden demise of 2 wonderful beings. Tears and arguements. Other than that, I went to Bangkok, gotten a new job, met new people and got money. So, can say it was an average year.
Hopefully, 2008 will prove me wrong and bring me loads of smiles and wisdom.
While half of the nation will be at town for the countdown, I will be peacefully sitting down in a much less crowded home in Bedok with my paternal relatives. Poor baby has to work OT today but oh well, it's worth doing it for the money.
I wish everyone a very happy new year and hope the new year brings us a lot of smiles.

And I received another 2 more presents. Haiks.
I will take pretty pictures and post them sooon. The week's been terrible so far. Actually not the week but just
one of the days in this week. It caused bad heartaches for
us you. I doubt even a
sorry would be enough. But you were way
tooo giving for me. I deserved much worse.
But it's ok. I am going to pick up the pieces again and fix it right. And I know you will be there, right beside me, guiding me and picking me up when I fall.
You, my guardian angel.
Wanted to watch P.S I Love You but strangely none of the theatres was screening it. Guess there's some delay. Went to watch
I Am Legend and it was a mind-blowing, heart-stopping movie. hahah. My heart literally stopped because of the sound effects. The movie was damn good la and of cause with Will Smith in it, any movie will be good. :)
Today's my dad's birthday and yet he gave me $200 in the morning. *
slaps forehead*
2008 looks promising and welcoming now and I
hope it stays that way.
I never knew I could feel this much for a person.
It's scary at times the emotional turmoil I go through.
From angry
i-dont-know-what-i'm-saying bitch to a baby.
But, I suppose that's what they call
love?
If that's the case, then I
love you.
very much:)Labels: love, movie

Hmmmm. I got 4 more presents!!
- Mickey Mouse and friends savings tin. I changed it into a pen holder. hah.
- Leather card holder
- Earrings and chain from my bestie
Went to get presents on Sunday for my colleagues. My, it was tiring trying to choose what and who to give. I think we went around Causeway Point like more than 5 times. By the time we took our lunch was 3plus. Our initial plan was to get presents for my colleague, leave them at my place, catch Alvin and the Chipmunks at Cineleisure and see the lightings.
Unfortunately, the shopping had to end a little late. But it didn't ruin any plans. We managed to catch Alvin and the Chipmunks at Causeway Point and the movie is fabulousssss with a capital F!! hahhaa. damn cute la. I don't mind exchanging them for my boyfriend. *
grins* Surprisingly, the theatre was empty with no any interruptions. The movie ended nearly 730pm and we made our way down to Orchard. The lightings were wonderful but we didn't really go all over. Orchard was screaming with people. I will let the pictures speak for itself. :)

Thats me standing like never been beside a Christmas tree.

Deep thoughts.

A visibly tired me.

A very tired us in the end. :)

Today finished work at 1pm and so did my bestie. Decided to meet her at Bugis as she needed to do some shopping. And shopping we did, cause we walked around Bugis for hours. The crowd was crazy man. I didn't have to walk. The crowd was pushing me. Goodness. I met her at about 130pm. We left Bugis only at 7pm. hahhaa. This is what happens when you leave 2 girls with money in their hands. hahah. But it's not like we shop dead. She got some presents for her nephews and cousins and she treated me to Swensen's ice creammm!
And on the way back, she did a very sweet thing. She hid my present in her bag and she pretended to take something. She took out a bag and said this is for you. So sweet, right?
*hint at bf*Hahaha. Well, she got me gorgeous earrings which I have been eyeing on and this chain which has the word '
Sexy'. So far, this has been the most wonderful Christmas and first time I have been
too involved in it. Getting presents, wearing
green and
red with
gold earrings. hahha. Christmas overload.
But oh well, Christmas is all about giving and receiving like
Nithya said. Merry Christmas to all, and be good. :)

And so, it can be either a bad or good day depending on my attitude. Well, that's what Friendster says. Sighs.
This week's been wonderful so far. The monthly networking event was held on Wed and it was held in a different concept -
group speed-dating session. It was interesting and funny especially when certain groups didn't get up even when the 7 minutes were over and we had to go stand behind and say 'Move guys, move!' hahaha.
To add on, I have many
'Santa Clauses' in my workplace. Most of my colleagues including my managers gave each other Christmas presents!
Presents I have received so far:
- Bookmark (ideal present for me as I am a bookworm!)
- Knitted bag and purple pouch which ranges from big size all the way to small *love it*
- Beads and Donald Duck mobile accessory
- Winnie The Pooh handphone pouch
- Pink small pencil box (I think)
- Printed Shawl
- Notebook
*beams*
The whole unit went for Esprit shopping at Centrepoint last week cause one of my managers had some discount and I got myself this pretty red babydoll top.
Baby and I got ourselves gorgeous couple rings after more than 2 years. Hahha. Speaking of the boyfriend, he has got a new job in SIA as an asst. technician and is a very happy little boy. The salary's quite good and will do him a lot of help especially now that he's awaiting his results. Now I can look forward to getting more presents! Plus, I can get to go to Changi Airport more often!
Went for dinner on Monday with the bestie at Bugis and bumped into our secondary school classmate Natalie. Seems like last year that we graduated, but time passes by fast. We are all updating each other on where we are currently working, and who's married or given birth. haha.
Just a couple more days and we will be welcoming 2008. I wonder what awaits me then but I hope it starts off with a good note, at least this time. I don't think I want to have any resolutions as I just can't get to fulfilling it. I am going to take it slow and see what I can achieve this time round. Who knows, can be my driving license? Oh wait, I can't be saying anything now. Oops.
Can't wait to see the Christmas light up and watch Alvin and The Chipmunks on Sunday!!!

Old news ahead!!
Enchanted was best-est!!!!! Hahaha. It's funny, nice and so happy. A my-kind-of-movie. Those happily ever afters.
Met Gaya on Thurs and my, whenever I am with that girl we just end up sitting at one of those kopitiams or cafe for hours. We were at Causeway Point's Banquet at 8pm. We left at 10pm. But we didn't end there. I went to check out if there's Starbucks at Civic Centre cause the day before I saw a familiar sign at Civic but brushed it off. To my suprise, Starbucks is back!! We ended up there till 11ish and we left. Don't ask me what we talked about but everytime we meet, we just have something to talk and talk and talk. So yeah. That's girls for you. Haha.
Went to watch The Golden Compass on Friday and it turned out to be a bit boring on the first part, but once my hero polar bear made its appearance, it was action time!
Back to work tomorrow. Haiz.
And thanks Gaya for introducing to me that Rihanna's song. It's stuck in my head. :)

I have concluded something. Parents are going crazy.
What the hell is wrong with the old season of Sesame Street, Spongebob cartoons?? If you are going to look deeper into unnecessary things, then might as well ban all cartoons. If these parents were right that Ernie was tooo close to Elmo, then whoever who watched it even my bunch of people would have grown up being gays/lesbians.
And just because Spongebob is too close with his whatever friend is a problem to them, I got nothing to say. So guys are supposed to stand 10miles apart and talk to each other. They can't express their friendship at all? Why are parents relying on cartoons to influence their children's mind? If children grow up following cartoons, then I must say that the parents' upbringing was bad.
As long u instill good values and teach your children whats good and not, I don't see how small kids are going to sway? If they are going to be so uptight about everything, then they should ban power rangers and TMNT because they go around KILLING bad people. It just sounds so dumb.
I realized that educated parents behave like they're uneducated. Please la, if any of you are reading this and fits into this 'uneducated parent' category. Dont' bother tagging me. Don't be so uptight about things and learn ways to nurture your children. If u think that cartoons make such impact on your children's life, I am sad to say that your influence is only
that much on them.

I am back!
Attended an interesting bhajan on Friday. We went to this open tent at Yishun and there was this whole big group of Chinese praying to Hindu and Chinese gods. And not only that, the Chinese were carrying kavadi! It was overwhelming to see non-indians so devoted to Hindu gods.
My weekend was great! Went to Kamini's brother's church wedding on Sat. The settings for the lunch was damn nice and so was the price. Haha.
Came back all heated up thanks to the weather. Evening headed to my cousin's place for some 16 days thingy for his newborn. After that, headed to my cousin's chalet at Changi Safra for her daughter's 1 year old birthday bash. My family ended up staying overnight and we had lots of fun.
The oldies plus the older cousins played cards, while the younger cousins all stayed awake till 5am in the morning talking stories. Morning, the kids headed to the swimming pool whereas the rest sang karaoke. I didn't know my cousin's husband could sing so well man.
Later part, all of us headed to the bowling centre. All of us so mismatched in our outfits. My cousin and I are officially known as the 'Longkang Sisters' cause the balls kept going to the longkang. So we decided, before the next bowling session, we are going to train ourselves. Haha.
Got home around 4pm yesterday, spent much needed time with baby. :)
All the best baby for your exams!!
