Went for the Changi Airshow today and my the queue for the shuttle service was madness not forgetting the heat. My feet was literally burning and I got free tanning without going to the beach. But watching the display of planes made it all worth it. But of course with these kind of stuff we do have our share of ugly Singaporeans. And sometimes I just feel like slapping these people so they would learn how to behave themselves and talk properly. After the Airshow, took a cab back to Causeway Point as we wanted to eat. But as we were reaching there we realized that there was some Chingay procession going on and decided to stay there. I shall the pictures do the talking.

Finally I have time for/to myself. Been a terrible week so far, in terms of plans. Was supposed to meet baby at Newton on Monday and the surprise plan backfired cause he couldn't get the seating. So we decided to meet on Tuesday and then his boss told him to cancel his half day as got work to do. Arggh. So irritating. Guess I am not fated to see the surprise, yet.So met Gaya on Monday to have a mini girls self-indulgence night out. And we were all happy after that with pretty fingers and feet. Hehehe.
Met bestie and we went to watch Jumper on Wed! It was a last minute thingy but oh well. The movie was quite interesting and Hayden looked good. I think Rachel and his on-screen chemistry really clicked. Heee.
Decided to give Suguna a pre-birthday surprise on Friday. Thurs after work, Aishah and I went to Far East and looked for her a bag. We were choosing for so long as we didn't know what type of bag she likes and we keep choosing every other bag but couldn't decide one. At last, chose pretty brown patent leather bag for her. On Friday, we gave her a post-card first creating the impression that all of us were broke and couldn't really afford any gifts. Then after that I quickly went to Simha's table and took the bag and we gave it to her. Her reaction after seeing the bag itself was priceless! Hahaha. We are all glad that she liked it. Btw,

Went for kickboxing after a week and it felt good kicking and punching. Hahah. Met baby and even before we could do anything mom gave baby the most dreaded phone call. Apparently they had those thing flashing on tv, those army stuff and mom got reminded of him and called. So he immediately called his friend and he updated us with another dreaded information. Their call up status is pending and they must be on standby till 2359hrs. Sighs! Whatever we planned for today was gone! I tell you, this week is just damn jinxed for us. But thankfully, he was with me till 8 plus when his dad called and said he should report to camp by 11pm. At least I could spend some time with him. (: And he being the wonderful-lest bf he fixed up my new comp and made sure everything was working before he left. Sighhs.
Will be going for the airshow tomorrow and I am actually not really that interested since I heard in today's news that over 40, 000 people attended. I don't even want to know how many will be attending tomorrow. All I know is that I got to be in Pasir Ris by 9am and I am not liking it. Hmph!

Hmmm. So many things have happened over the week and I am glad to say that it's all over.
Mom had to be admitted cause she suffered mild stroke on her right hand. I am glad the whole ordeal is over and she got discharged on Thurs and is on her way to recovery! Thanks to everyone who asked!
Didn't had the mood to watch P.S I Love You today and I told my bf to not buy the tickets. But of course, he didn't listen to me and bought the tickets. There are changes to the movie but overall its beautiful :). Btw Durgz, our movie date for this movie is still on. Don't come and tell oh u watch already nvm don't watch again cause I might just slap u with my bag. Haha.
Valentine's Day was different. Couldn't meet him as he had to do overtime. Couldn't meet my bestie during lunch time as I had to go to Little India with dad and quickly get a gift for my mom. Couldn't meet my bestie after work as she had girl's night out with her ex-sch mates. Oh well, baby's got this surprise for me on Monday. I am supposed to meet him at Newton and he's gona bring me somwhere and he's bent on not telling me anything. Haha. And, I will be having post-Vday outing with my bestie again. Hahah. Not Fish and Co this time ah. hahhaa.
I just heard that one of my uncles passed away today while he was exercising at Yishun Park. It's so sudden and scary. He and my dad are of the same age. hmmm.

Major shopping spree overload!
Yesterday's plans didn't take place at all. Sighs. Early morning baby had a call from the army and he had to get ready for some emergency exercise. It was a one day thing and of course we couldn't do what we wanted to do. The initial plan was the both of us to get a new phone, go to Vivo, do some shopping and have a surprise dinner for the parents.
But then again yesterday's unplanned itinerary was even better. Haha. Dad took half day so mom and I went to meet him at Causeway Point. Headed to Singtel shop and I was looking ard for a new phone. Wanted to get the Nokia 6500 since it looks small and handy but my dad wasn't too keen on it. He wanted to me to get Nokia N95 8GB. Aiyoooh. So expensive. Without line its nearing 1.2k but with line its $688. So just extended my line again. He insisted on it. So what can I say? Heee:)
Then mom wanted to get perfume for dad and I. Went to Metro and I got this perfume not sure what brand also but its damn nicee. Smell of Mango and some other things. Hahaha. Then went to Courts cause my mom wanted to see fan. We were passing by the Computer section when I asked my dad whether we could change the Desktop comp cause its too slow and its more than 4 years already. He also agreed and we got ourselves this really big screen Dell Comp. I wasn't keen on Dell but just decided to give it a try. The screen is like damn big la..I think about 20". Perfect for watching movies and all my dramas. And the hard disk is 250GB. Damn good man. And the price is quite affordable too!
We headed to the Digi Cam side and my dad got for me the Olympus camera. I am bad with the model name. I only know its 8mp and 5x zoom which is good enough already. Yay! So i got my Valentine's Day pressie from my parents. Digi cam, new hp and perfume. Then we headed to get a fan which was the main reason why we went to Courts. Haha.
Basically it was a technology shopping spree yesterday. We were in CP from 1pm till 8pm. My legs were screaming by the time we reached. I am still getting used to the function of the new mobile because I was using Sony Ericsson for more than 2 years. I hope Nokia won't disappoint me because everytime I pass by the Nokia Care Center at CP it's always crowded!
My baby only reached home nearly 10plus there. But I am glad the drill is all over for him. Guess I should be expecting more of this unexpected army exercises and reservist. Sighs.
And, I am down with sorethroat and flu and I have a ROM to attend tonight. Great!
I shall go fiddle with the phone!

The long holidays are finally here! Sad part is that most parts will look like ghost town. Had half day on Wed. After work, went to meet Durga at Orchard Mrt Station because she's new to SG and has no idea how to get to Cineleisure. hahha! We wanted to watch 27 Dresses and kept our fingers crossed as many people were heading there as well. Thankfully, it was still pretty empty and we managed to get good seats. We had an hour and a half to spare so we decided to head to Swensens for lunch.

Anyway, the movie is damn damn nice! A chick flick and perfect for girlfriends to watch. After that we walked around to kill time as it was my parents 25th wedding anniversary and I was meeting them straight at SRC (singapore recreation club). We walked from Cineleisure to Far East hoping the florist would be open but sadly no! Then we had to walk all the way back. Halfway we decided to get McFlurry at Lucky Plaza. So my bestie went to order and when she placed her order the manager just pointed straight ahead. Apparently, he meant that the machine was down and we had to go down to order instead. So stupid. Either he thought that my best friend was deaf or he was dumb.
As you can see from all the tents how crowded Semb beach was! Had loads of fun.
Tom's going to be a pretty long day. Keeping my fingers crossed and hope things turned out as planned.

By the time we got back and bought popcorn we missed like about 5-10mins of the movie. Hahha. And while queueing for the popcorn we also realized that 27 Dresses has been sold out!

I assumed he was trying to be funny and I just stared at him and started walking when he said something nonsensical which was probably this year's worst pick up line - the way you eat ice cream is very nice. *major roll-eye*
Oh well, after that we headed to Swensen's again and got my parents this beautiful ice-cream cake. Headed to City Hall where I did a walk-a-thon. Ok la, that's a far-fetched anatomy. See, I have never been to SRC before so I called my wonderful daddy and asked him how to get there. He said the way we get out from Esplanade and bla bla. To cut long story short, he referred to the way we normally get to Esplanade and thats via CityLink. I asked him if he was referring to the Suntec City's Starbucks and he said yes. So sweaty, sticky, carrying a damn heavy ice-cream cake and looking damn unglam, I walked all the way to Suntec City where my dad calls me again.
So I said I am nearing to the Starbucks and he said ok, but don't walk near the Capitol. oooooK. As far as I have known Capitol has always been beside St.Andrews Cathedral. So now I asked whether he's referring to Raffles Shopping Centre Starbucks or Suntec City Starbucks and he says the former! God! I wanted to leave the cake at the ctrl station and get him to collect it himself. hah! I had to walk all the way back and by the time I got to SRC Gayathri's Restaurant, I was dead tired. Sheesh!

I am just so pissed! I went for threading today and she screwed up my eyebrows!!
It's back to square 1. SIGHS! I have to draw them so they won't look obvious!
I feel so retarded coz I give utmost importance to eyebrows. I feel they define the features on your face. God. So irritating!!
Now I have to wait nearly a month or more to get back my normal eyebrows.

DeviantArt It has been a crazy week for me. Unpredictable events. Went to sign up for my driving on Friday and hopefully I can get my driving license by the end of the year or maybe early next year. I am taking it slow. Slow and steady wins the race! Haha.
KardioSculpt on Thursday was madness. The trainer was even more intense as we won't be seeing her this week. God, I felt like throwing the weights at her but then again, she's damn entertaining in an irritating way.
Went for my secondary school classmate's daughter's naming ceremony on Saturday with Durga and Suha. It was an eventful sight. Felt like all the jewellery in the world was present at the event. The extend people go to wearing jewellery to attend a function is simply amazing. I was blinded by everything. My friend looked more grand that an Indian bride but her daughter, Afrah, looked so different. I remember uploading her pictures late last year but don't even bother looking at that now. She looks so much more like her daddy.
I wonder if I were to have my child's naming ceremony, how will I do it? My bestie has strong instincts which comes true quite often. When I met her on Saturday and when I was telling her that I always wanted to get married in a temple, she suddenly said that she has a feeling that I might get married much earlier. Sounds interesting, exciting and scary. But oh well, I can't even think about it now as I have not completed my studies and not even stable in career and in finance. In the mean time, I shall just make do with dreaming about it. (:
Spent a much need time and day with my baby yesterday. Initially, I was supposed to go the gym and meet him later. But I procrastinated! The boy came nearly 3pm. Sighs. Went to have lunch with mom when my 'smart' little baby realized he didn't bring his atm card. Wow! Great! See, my baby got this fat ass pay cheque and was supposed to go shopping with me but nooo!! He never carries a wallet! And, he's irritating. Period.
So! We need do some serious shopping for my baby first. He needs to get a proper Hp with a proper line, wallet, watch and clothes! Haha. I might be getting a new handphone so anyone, please feel free to update me on the latest mobile technology available in Singaporeeeeee!
Plus, would be great if anyone could tell me if Murdoch Uni is good or not?
