It has been a good weekend for me. Definitely much better compared to the previous weekends where I had to sacrifice my baby to the army. It's such an irony that they didn't call him up when Mas Selamat escaped but they called him up when there was no problem! It's not that I am complaining just wondering.
There's a lot of loopholes for Mas Selamat's escape. I am not going to post my unanswered questions because I know I can't get the right answers now. I shall just let time answer. Meanwhile, let's just all pray that this mad man won't do anything stupid. Hopefully he falls into a longkang and stay there!

Met the bestie on Saturday to watch
PS I Love You,
again. It was worth watching it. She said that its rare to find such a husband in Singapore. Well, there are nice men out there. Who knows there might be a Gerald Butler in Singapore. But, time and fate will show them to us or vice versa. Till then, keep waiting my girls. It will be worth the wait. :)

More photos of us are posted in her entry. So feel free to view it. Haha.
Rushed back home to get ready for my uncle's 16th day death prayers held at the Kallang Sivan Temple. His sudden death shocked us all! His eldest daughter just gave birth to a beautiful babygirl. This goes to show that never take anyone for granted. And never end a phonecall or meeting with a fight for you may never know, it might be the last time you're seeing that person.
Learnt that there was a Career and Education Fair at Suntec City. So Baby and I headed down there on Sunday. Signed up for a course and hopefully I get it. I am not going to say anything about it now. But I will let you guys know if my admission is being accepted. Hopefully it's a positive answer. *crosses fingers*
After going round and round at the Convention Centre, we headed to Vivocity to meet parents, Ashwin and his mom. Apparently my mom and ashwin's mom both got me a pair of earrings and I got a top from Chomel. And also, I got a bag from GUESS. It's damn useful and big! Which is just what I needed. And I also learnt that my baby had actually gotten for me a GUESS bag too. Haiks. Of coz the bag is sponsored by my father. If not I won't be getting one. Lol. Speaking of GUESS reminds me of one interesting conversation I had with my bestie years back.
****Flash Back**
Me: Hey I bought a watch today!
Bestie: Oh ok.. What brand?
Me: GUESS..
Bestie: I don't know that's why I asking you right! Idiot!
Me: The brand is GUESS la stupid!
Bestie: Oh.. *breaks into irritating laughter*
Me: ......
Things I have to go through with a retard. Wahahhaha! After Vivo, Baby and I took a cab and headed for Mount Faber as he had made a dinner reservation at Marina Deck. After dinner, Baby and I went for a walk to see what's this Mount Faber Park is all about. Why is it one of the hot spots for couples? To my surprise, I didn't really feel comfortable with the place. The trees look unusually big especially their barks. And, when we sat on the garden bench in this shrine-looking 'hut', I felt that we were not alone there. And somewhat that place looks too eerie. Not forgetting the stupid bee which came straight for my face and got me running barefoot as I had taken out my shoes. We wanted to go sit in another place when I saw two bats circulating that area. And they were flying quite low. Bloody hell. And also, the fat lizards which god knows what the hell they are feeding on. So damn fat bums la. Happily position themselves above the spotlights and I was praying they won't fall as we had to sit right under them while waiting for the bus which had a 30min arrival time. We missed the 9.10pm bus and had to take the 9.40pm bus. That place is just too weird man. Anyway, I shall let the pictures speak for the evening. :)
But then again, what matters most was the company. And I loved it. Every single bit of it. :)
Thank you baby for everything. :) Mwah!
In the cab. On our way to Mt.Faber. And the Guess Bag. :)

On a seperate note, I just finished this amazingly wonderful book by Nicholas Sparks. It's an old book but it's never too late to read it.
Message In A Bottle had me crying more than PS I Love You. I felt totally connected to Theresa and Garett and wished for things to take place otherwise. But the ending that the author has given brought a deeper meaning and withdrew the melodramatic ending that I wished for. Nichloas Sparks has a wonderful gift of writing and he has put it to good use. The NoteBook, A Walk To Remember all had me crying as well. He's somewhat like Mitch Albom. They have magic in their thoughts and language. I love good books and to have a good read you need a good author. I am glad that I found two of the greatest authors.
Went to the temple today with the bestie. And the feeling was damn good. Temple was quite empty and I felt good after praying. Should keep this as a regular thingy.
This week don't really look too promising. I have to do stock taking for the publications as the new deputy director would like to see the records. I have been having frequent headaches these days. Not sure if my eyesight degree has increased. Need to go and have it checked.
I am too stuffed with chicken. And in need of hot water!
Hope you guys had a fantabulous weekend!
Cya!
